Ava Gardner
This drawing is a sultry take on the movie goddess, Ava Gardner. She was Frank Sinatra’s obsession and the bane of his existence. Her looks landed her starring roles that may have outpaced her acting abilities but there was no doubt most of the men in the audience didn’t care. For this drawing, I sketched the face and fingers on gray paper then photographed it and brought it into Photoshop to render the black background and film grain look. The eyes say it all!
