What is there to say about Marilyn that hasn’t already been said hundreds of times over? She is an icon and more of a caricature than a flesh and blood human being. This drawing captures her at the height of her sex symbol prowess. I wanted to illustrate the extremes of her appearance from her early Norma Jean look to this polished and perfect goddess look. She remains one of the most recognizable people in the world decades after her death.
